Supported brokers

Three brokers live today, and any combination of them

QuantGrid speaks each broker's own API. A master account at one broker can drive child accounts at the same broker or at a different one, with symbol and product-type translation handled for you.

QuantGrid replicates equity and F&O orders on NSE, BSE, NFO and BFO. Commodities (MCX) and currency (CDS and BCD) are outside that scope and are never replicated.

Brokers in production right now

Each adapter is written against the broker's documented API, not a screen scraper or a browser plugin. Order updates arrive over the broker's WebSocket, and REST order-book polling takes over automatically if that socket drops.

Cross-broker

Any live broker can be the master. Any live broker can be a child.

Every broker event is normalised into one internal order format before the replication engine sees it. That is what makes the pairing free: the engine does not care which broker an order came from, only what the order was.

Supported master and child broker combinations. Every combination of live brokers is supported.

Every combination carries the same instrument scope: Equity and F&O on NSE, BSE, NFO and BFO. Commodities (MCX) and currency (CDS and BCD) are not supported.

Worked example

A Zerodha master buys 100 Reliance on intraday product. One child account sits at FYERS with a copy factor of 0.5. Here is what each side sees.

Master
NSE:RELIANCE · MIS · BUY 100
Copy factor
0.50
Child
NSE:RELIANCE-EQ · INTRADAY · BUY 50

What QuantGrid translated

  • Symbol: the Zerodha tradingsymbol NSE:RELIANCE becomes NSE:RELIANCE-EQ, the form the FYERS API expects.
  • Product type: Zerodha MIS maps to FYERS INTRADAY, and NRML maps to MARGIN.
  • Quantity: child quantity is the master quantity times your copy factor, floored to a whole lot and capped by your max-quantity limit. Rounding is always down, because exchanges reject partial lots.
  • Side, order type and price are carried across unchanged.

You choose the master, you set every multiplier and limit, and you can stop replication for any account at any time. See the full order path.

API access

What you need from your broker before you start

QuantGrid connects only through official broker APIs. That means a small amount of setup on the broker's side, and it means you stay in control of the connection.

Broker API access is billed by the broker

Some brokers charge a monthly fee for API access, and some require you to enable it from your account first. That charge is between you and your broker, separate from what you pay QuantGrid.

You authorise through the broker's own flow

You sign in on the broker's official login page. QuantGrid receives a session token scoped to your account and never sees or stores your broker password.

You can revoke access at any time

Revoke the connection from your broker's console and QuantGrid stops receiving order updates and stops placing orders immediately. Your funds and holdings never leave your broker.

IPv4 or IPv6 depends on your broker

Each broker account you connect gets its own dedicated static IP, with IPv6 priced below IPv4. Not every broker API answers on IPv6, and it comes down to one DNS record on the host your orders are sent to, so we publish the lookup we ran, per broker, with the date we ran it. Check your broker there before you choose an address type, and ask us if it is not listed.
